Meet a Professional Day (MAP day) aims to set Youth up for a successful future after high school. This event features a night of networking between grade 11 and 12 students, their parents, and 20-30 working professionals. Booths of different fields, such as art, engineering, healthcare, government, law, business and volunteer work are set up to connect real life professionals with curious students. This event gives students the opportunity to learn first hand what life beyond high school will look like in various types of careers. We hope this will encourage students to pursue their passions knowing they have support within their community. MAP day also highlights the diversity of careers that students can choose, allowing students to do more research and feel less pressure when figuring out what they want to do for their careers.
